Tonight was our second time heading into Miraguls In everfrost & after a quick clear of the first 3 named we decided to have some pulls on Xaxia Viralus, who is condsidered a lot harder than the first three, and to be honest she really wasn't.
We would have dropped her on the first pull had my colour blindness not been an issue once again but we got her killed and came away with her loots. We are currently sitting at 50% of the zone cleared with only 2 raids spent in there. Not bad going at all.
So tonight we went into palace, after having a week's break from progression to do some fun raiding and some back flagging for our alts. We started out on Tythus who we downed with ease & pentaclypse quickly followed suit. Then we were staring at mynzak, the holder of our shoulder patterns.
After two unsuccessful pulls we decided to try a slight change of tank spot and managed to get him down to 50% before we wiped VERY unluckily to the vision. We dusted ourselves off and went for him again, with the end of raid time closing in we pulled out an awesome kill & we did it whil looking VERY stable throughout. We eventually downed him and got our first set of TSO shoulders to drop.
Grats go out to Alway on the wrist piece and shashta for winning the shoulder pattern. Only one mob stands between us and clearing ANOTHER TSO zone, the only problem is that mob is Anashti sul
After only 3 months of raiding together as a guild, we have cleared our first TSO zone, something not many other guilds on the server can say they have accomplished, or will ever accomplish in such a short time of being together.
We had goals of going and trying zarrakon tonight but instead decided to have a go at gynok, a mob that is considered a lot tougher than zarrakon and we had him killed with just over an hour and 30 minutes spent on him.
The confusion on timers as to when the 4 minute timer set in was truely hilarious in vent and the screams of BURN HIM, BURN HIM!! will be something I personally will not forget in a long time.
Each and every one of you should be incredibly happy with what we have achieved to this point & I am so greatful to be surrounded by such hard working, commited people, which is what we were lacking in our previous guilds & was the reason why Tenuviel and I took the good players here with us to start something fresh that we could call our own.
Anyway enough rambling... Grats go out to Samina on the defiler legs pattern & to Thecaller who won the Mage earring.
Ok so with the amount of progression kills we have got over the last week im really starting to run out of things to say about how far we have progressed & how close we are to having cleared 2 TSO zones.
Tonight we downed another progression mob and moved further through palace.
Wow!! what an amazing kill!! We started the night out in TOMC and cleared it within 30 minutes then we went into a fresh palace zone and obliterated our way to tythus within 45 minutes & started to pull him again.
This was the first time we had managed to pull him with the correct group setups for cures. It took us three pulls and we finally had tythus on our kill list.
I have to say it was an amazing job by the healers and especially to trinkets for stepping in on the defiler and doing an amazing for his first time playing one.
This opens the rest of the week for us to progress further in palace and to kill pentaclypse tomorrow!
